THE BOUCHON COLLECTION

The Bouchon Collection is based on a series of paintings created by Paulin Paris for the Bouchon dining establishments in Beverly Hills, Yountville, Las Vegas, and New York.

The story started in Yountville, California, in 1998, when chef Thomas Keller, interior designer Adam Tihany, and artist Paulin Paris decided to collaborate together, giving birth to the first Bouchon restaurant.

The dream was to bring the atmosphere of a French brasserie to America: velvet and bronze fixtures, zinc bars, floor tiles... the fine details that look and feel as though one were in Paris.

The paintings by Paris are framed on panels along the walls, paying homage to Surrealism and its masters, André Breton and René Magritte.

This series serves as a time machine, bringing to its viewers a contemporary Surrealist experience.
