The Bouchon Collection is based on a series of paintings created by artist Paulin Paris for Bouchon restaurant, in Beverly Hills, Yountville, Las Vegas, and New York.

The story started in Yountville, CA, 1998, when chef Thomas Keller, interior designer Adam Tihany, and artist Paulin Paris decided to collaborate together, giving birth to the first Bouchon restaurant.

The dream was to bring the atmosphere of a French Brasserie to America: velvet and bronze fixtures, zinc bars, floor tiles... everything as if one were in Paris.

The paintings by Paulin Paris are framed on panels along the walls, paying hommage to Surrealism and its masters, André Breton and René Magritte.

This series serves as a time machine, bringing to its viewers a contemporary Surrealist experience.
